I am so pleased with the progress of Mission Partner's projects this year. We have done some amazing things in Appalachia thanks to the groups who have gone on mission. We have completed food distribution, home repair, painting project, musical concerts to mention just a few. Each of these project represent people in need. Someone receiving food when food is low at home; a fresh coat of paint in a homeless shelter men's dormatory helps men to feel comfortable as they continue to set goals for their future, hearing the teens sing in worship was a highlight for a small mountain church in Kentucky.
This summer we have students who have chosen to go on mission rather than hanging out with their friends. These are the good things we don't hear on the evening news. I am so proud of our Mission Partners.
